1/12/25 CVTW: Voter ID; Say Yes Missions Homeless Shelter

                                                                   Chippewa Valley This Week



In this week's GOP radio address, State Senate Majority Leader, Devin LeMahieu(R-Oostburg) touts the Senate's passage of an amendment to enshrine voter ID requirements in the state Constitution, and Rep. Rob Summerfield expressed his support as well, with a comment from a news conference this week in Chippewa Falls. In the week's Democratic radio address Gov. Evers says he'll propose requiring the Legislature to allow Wisconsinites to put binding referenda on the ballot. Also, Say Yes Missions Co-Founder, Kandi Marticorena, and Taisha Smith, a volunteer, comment on the shelter that just opened at 412 Washington St. in Eau Claire.

Evers highlights his 2024 accomplishments and in the week's GOP radio address State Sen. Cory Tomczyk(R-Mosinee) says his party plans to push tax cut bills this session.
