Riding a win streak of eight, the Lady Macks (9-2, 5-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) began the pressure defense early and often against the Tigers (6-5, 3-1 Scenic Bluffs Conference), who found points very hard to come by.
After the half, McDonell continued to surge ahead, as nine players scored and they notched their ninth consecutive victory.

Junior guard/forward Claire Ruf led all scorers with 15 points, including three threes, while fellow junior Anne Sigenthaler was right behind with 14. Junior Rylie Christianson was the third Lady Macks player in double figures, as she added 11 points on the night.
