On the road at Gelein Field at Carson Park in Eau Claire, the Lady Macks (10-4, 9-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) started a little slowly against the Ramblers (0-9, 0-8 WCC), who were hungry for their first win of the season.
McDonell only plated one run through the first three innings, but broke through for 3 in the 4th and never looked back, as they collected 17 hits on the night.
Junior pitcher Kelsey Bremness took a perfect game into the 7th and struck out eight with no walks. Freshman Taylan Hanson tallied two hits, including her second inside-the-park homer of the season, and junior Aleah Bowe drove in two runs.
