Aided by seven walks and a hit batsmen, Hudson(13-0, 4-0) exploded for ten first inning runs even before Chippewa Falls(7-2, 3-1) came to the plate. The Raiders first also included a 3-run HR from Auburn-commit, SS Jack Matczynski.
Four Chi High singles led to three runs in the bottom of the first, but the big, early deficit proved too much for the Cards to overcome. The two teams play again Thursday at Hudson.
