After going on an 8-0 run early Chippewa Falls(5-11) built a 15-8 lead only to see Wausau East(2-11) outscore them 18-7 the rest of the half to lead at the break, 26-22. The seesaw battle continued in a 2nd half marked by seven ties, the last of which was at 53 a piece. The Cards then scored the final five points to win their second straight game, 58-53.
