Back at home in their conference opener, the Lady Macks (2-2, 1-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) started off strong against the Crickets (1-2, 0-1 WCC), but the visitors took advantage of McDonell foul trouble to come within single digits at the half.
In the second, the Lady Macks continued to play pressure defense and stretched their advantage, cruising to a first conference victory of the season.
