9/6/26 CVTW: Overdose Awareness; Survey; Women with Purpose; Summit

                                                                Chippewa Valley This Week

Our first two stories this week come from the Eau Claire City-County Health Department. First, Public Health Specialist, Sarah Dillivan-Pospisil, tells us how the county recognized Overdose Awareness Day on Aug. 31st with a display of 139 small purple flags recognizing the county residents who'd died of an overdose between 2018 and 2025. Meanwhile, the Department's Executive Director, Lieske Giese, discusses the public health survey being distributed this fall in Eau Claire, Chippewa, and Dunn counties.
Also, the Director of Women with Purpose, Connie Szak, provides an overview of all the speakers they have scheduled for their tenth year between September and next May. Finally, Toni Mattson of Trinity Equestrian Center, looks ahead to Paul Berthiaume, Pastor of Jacob's Well church, closing out the Sept. 12th "Strength in Service Summit" at the Eau Claire Event Distric.
