Chippewa Valley This Week
We cover some of the area fallout following the Sept. 9th assassination of conservative activist, Charlie Kirk, beginning with an online petition from the non-profit, Eau Claire in the Know, calling for the resignation of Eau Claire City Council members, Aaron Brewster and Joshua Miller, because of comments they made on social media immediately following Kirk's death. And in a related story we hear from Congressman Derrick Van Orden regarding a bill he introduced this week aimed at withholding federal funding from select communities like Eau Claire. We also hear from Eau Claire City Manager, Stephanie Hirsch, and Eau Claire City Council President and Democratic Congressional candidate, Emily Berge, courtesy of WQOW and WEAU.
