After getting out to a 9-1 lead thanks to 3-pointers from Kael Dillenbeck and Kobe Twyman Chippewa Falls(0-22, 0-13) went into the half trailing Prescott 33-31 after another 3-pointer right before the buzzer from Owen Munson.
However CF really struggled getting their offense going in the 2nd half as they were outscored 23-13 and came up on the short end, 56-44.
On the road in their conference finale and playing on back-to-back nights, the Macks (14-9, 6-6 Western Cloverbelt Conference) gave up an early lead and found themselves down two possessions to the Cardinals (2-20, 0-12 WCC), who got hot from distance early in the game.
Right before halftime, however, McDonell responded, retaking the lead and stretching it to a 13-point advantage at the break. After the half, the Macks never looked back, scoring the first 11 points of the second half and cruising to a dominant conference victory.
