Chippewa Valley This Week
In a neutral site non-conference game at the Target Center in Minneapolis, the Macks (4-4, 0-1 Western Cloverbelt Conference) went back and forth for much of the first half with the Railroaders (2-3, 1-1 Middle Border Conference), before pulling out to a nearly double-digit lead by halftime.
After the break, the Macks again found their rhythm, extending the lead to 20+ points and withstanding aggressive Altoona pressure defense to notch a fourth victory on the season and get back to .500 heading into Christmas break.
After jumping out to an early 2-0 lead and trailing 7-4, Chi High(0-7, 0-3) saw Hudson(4-2, 3-0) go on a 22-0 run in building up a 29-4 lead. The Cards followed that with an 8-0 run of their own before Hudson closed the half leading 43-18. The Raiders continued to expand their lead in the 2nd half eventually kicking in a running clock with just inside of nine minutes left when they led by 40.
