The Macks(1-0) mounted a 46-0 halftime lead on their way to a 46-20 season-opening eight-player win over visiting Greenwood(0-1). McDonnell made Greenwood pay for two lost fumbles deep in their own territory in their first three possessions on their way to the win.
The Macks host Thorp next Friday night at 7 at Dorais Field.
WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch: QB Grant Smiskey ran for TDs of 1 and 11 yards and found WR David Andersen for a 35 yard TD. Meanwhile, shortly after running in a TD from 14 yards out Eli Stepp returned a punt 53 yards for another TD.
