11-26-19 Chi Hi 68-Eau Claire North 42
The Cardinals (1-1, 1-0 Big Rivers Conference) went on the road for the first time this season for their opening game of the Big Rivers conference schedule to take on the Huskies (0-2, 0-1 BRC). Chi Hi scored the first basket of the game and never trailed after that, racking up a 19 point halftime lead and stretching their lead into the 20 point range for much of the second half.
WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior Caelan Givens had 19 points to lead the way for the Cardinals. Senior Alexis Zenner put up 17 points and was perfect from the free throw line while playing great defense.

11/22/19 Basketball: La Crosse Aquinas 84-Chi Hi 35
For the third straight season, the Cardinals took on the Aquinas Blugolds to kick off the season. Chi Hi struggled early, especially on offense and got behind almost from the start and the Cardinals trailed by almost 30 at the half against one of the best teams in the entire state regardless of division.
WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior Caelan Givens scored 11 points and Senior Aaliyah McMillan added 10 points, the only players in double figures for the Cardinals on the night.

11/21/19 Basketball: McDonell Lady Macks 58, Mondovi 45
Starting primarily sophomores and freshman in their home and season opener, the Lady Macks (1-0, 0-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) were without four key players due to injury, but still managed to harass the Lady Buffs (0-1, 0-0 Dunn-St. Croix) into a host of turnovers throughout the contest with relentless defensive effort.

Sophomore guard Lauryn Deetz led all scorers with a game-high 20 points, while freshman forward Marley Hughes made her presence felt with 14, and sophomore guard Destiny Baughman chipped in 12.
