2/20/26 Basketball: McDonell Lady Macks 57, Columbus Catholic 29

On the road in Stanley-Boyd for the Cloverbelt Crossover second place game and their regular season finale, the Lady Macks (19-5, 12-2 Western Cloverbelt Conference) went back and forth early on with the Dons (17-7, 11-2 Eastern Cloverbelt Conference), who came into the game as one of the top teams in Division 5.

Later in the first half, though, McDonell began to create some serious separation, roaring out to a 15-point halftime advantage and never being challenged the rest of the way, as they allowed only six points in the second half.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior guard/forward Claire Ruf poured in 15 of her game-high 17 points in the first half, while junior forward Anne Siegenthaler tallied 10.

2/20/26 Basketball: Stanley-Boyd 71, McDonell 60

In their conference finale, the Macks (11-12, 5-9 Western Cloverbelt Conference) kept pace for much of the first with the tall and talented Orioles (19-4, 11-3 WCC), who only led by three at the break.

In the second half, Stanley-Boyd extended their lead to double-digits, but McDonell battled back each time before finally succumbing down the stretch.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Senior guard Cael Holm made it rain from deep, knocking down seven threes and scoring a game-high 25 points.

2/14/26 Basketball: Cameron 59, McDonell Lady Macks 56

In a rematch from last year's Sectional Semi, the Lady Macks (17-5, 12-2 Western Cloverbelt Conference) fell behind early to the Comets (18-4, 15-1 Heart O'North Conference), who led 22-8 partway through the first half.

A 12-0 run sparked the comeback for McDonell however, and they pushed to a tie at the break. In the second the teams traded runs, but Cameron proved stronger down the stretch, as they picked up a quality non-conference win the day before playoff seeding.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior forward Anne Siegenthaler led the way for the Lady Macks with 15 points, while fellow junior Rylie Christianson had an impressive all-around game off the bench and was close behind with 14.

A 7-0 run to start the second half was also key, as Regis extended a lead they would never relinquish and swept the season series with McDonell.
