11/20/25 Basketball: Prescott 63, McDonell Lady Macks 61

On the road for the second time in three days, the Lady Macks (0-2, 0-0 Western Cloverbelt Conference) went back-and-forth with the hot-shooting Cardinals (1-1, 0-0 Middle Border Conference).

Despite relentless pressure from McDonell, Prescott senior Violet Otto poured in 30 points, and the Lady Macks couldn't quite keep pace in the closing minutes.


WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Junior guard/forward Claire Ruf led the way with 13 points, while fellow juniors Emily Hartman and Erin Siegenthaler also finished in double-digits, with 10 apiece.

11/18/25 Girls Basketball: Chippewa Falls 47, Merrill 39

 

The Lady Cards(1-0) scored the final six points of the half to go into the break tied at 15 with the Blue Jays. Then after falling behind 34-25 in the 2nd half Chippewa Falls turned up the heat with their full court press creating turnovers and easy baskets. This led to the Cards outscoring Merrill(0-1)22-5 the rest of the way en route to their 47-39 victory to start the season.

WOGO "RadioActive" Award Watch:
Jillian Wik scored 11 of her 12 points in the 2nd half, while Tenley Anderson added nine, and Emma Hoepner and MaKenna Wood chipped in eight a piece.
